I chose the fields of massage therapy and esthetics because I am a strong proponent
of natural health care with a firm belief in the power of holistic healing. I aim to

My massage specialty is Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage. Upon completion of
massage school I took a 5 week intensive study in Structural Integration which
enhanced my abilities to really help people therapeutically. I am not just rubbing
really hard but am able to assist clients with effecting real change.
I perform customized Phytomer facials. Phytomer is a remarkable skin care line
that effectively yet gently and safely addresses all skin care concerns. I chose
Phytomer because they are an ecologically sound company that have top scientists
formulating the best ingredients, testing their products both independently and
externally for proven and accurate efficacy and results.
Part of the customizing process in each facial is having conversations with my
clients to determine what is going on inside their body and how its potentially
affecting their skin. Topics such as digestion, hormones and nutrition do come up
regularly as the skin is a detoxifying organ and when your other organs and
hormones aren't functioning optimally it often is reflected in your skin.
I provide a list of referrals such as physicians, nutritionists and acupuncturists for
clients who aren't happy with their skin and suspect more is going on than just
not using the correct skin care program, as well as a list of cosmetic ingredients to
avoid for those who have problem skin.
I also have added a complementary modality to both bodywork and skin care called
Manual Lymphatic Drainage. A process that stimulates your bodies own
detoxification system for decreased pain, toxins and fine lines.
